Less than a month left... I've gotten so much done this time around, I don't even know how in the world I did it. But I feel accomplished! 🤗 however...I'm still not ready for this! Haven't finished her room, or hospital bag, and a few other details I want to get done before she comes. Soooo I really need to make it happen in the next 3 weeks 🙏🏼 I'm a true definition of a Capricorn. Everything has to be organized, decorated, cleaned, planned, and overall perfect 😩 I struggle with it when things don't go as planned so I'm really trying to teach myself that it's okay if things happen the way you didn't anticipate... afterall, my last two births were literally the exact opposite of what I had planned!
With Gio I wanted an all natural birth. Had a doula at the hospital, long ass birth plan that indicated NO epidural, no pitosin, no this and no that. Ended up getting an epidural (thank Jesus) and I had to fight with teeth and nails so they wouldn't give me a c section. They finally listened to me and let me body do it on its own.
With Charlie I wanted an epidural like a mothereffer! Matter of fact I highlighted it in bold in my rather short birth plan. Ended up delivering him in like 10 mins. No time for epidural. No doula; nothing.
Soooo clearly these things happen however they feel like. This baby is going to do what she wants. So the only thing I can do is be as ready as I can by controlling the things I can, such as hospital bag, car seat etc etc and pray to god I make it to the hospital in time to get an epidural LOL! I'm not tryin to go thru that pain again. But if I have to... 🤷🏼♀️ f it!
Anyways, here's to my last month of my last pregnancy. 💪🏼 PS. If you're pregnant and want to read birth stories (I was obsessed with those when I was pregnant first time around), ive blogged about both of my birth stories and shared them on my blog: www.stilettomeup.xyz ❤
