#docjenchallenge Ok Jen, my shoulders surely don't move like yours, but here you go!😂😘 I've been having a terrible time for a long time with range of motion and pain issues in my neck (which has a herniated disc) shoulders, and thoracic spine. I have some problematic curvature and asymmetry, and mild to moderate age-related (I'm 48) degenerative changes, in my spine. I also have changes in my neck and shoulders from previous injuries. So I've been working hard every day for a long time trying to improve the situation with yoga, stretching, exercise band work, and weight training. I've come a long way, but this still was not easy!

#move4purpose mobility challenge with @docjenfit Day 7 - Passive and active stretching for the big toe, foot, and ankle. I do this type of stretching every day and it helped me overcome bad #plantarfasciitis when I first started doing yoga a few years ago. Since I am used to the big toe stretch, I like to lean back and lift my hips a bit to also get a good stretch in the front of the hips and quads. I can't do a deep squat with flat feet without holding on to something like the strap due to the amount of dorsiflexion allowed by my ankles. Mobility of the Day:

I love and really need this, especially for my left side!
