Next up, White Chicken Chili! Okay, so I know this doesn’t totally qualify as a soup, but I’m going to put it on the list because it’s an absolute must make! Not only is it insanely easy, like literally just throw a bunch of goodies in your slow cooker and you’re good to go, but it’ll punch you in your taste buds with flavor! I like to top mine with a lil cheese, a few tortilla strips, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime. Mmm mm, magic!

StepBet time! Yer girl is hosting her very first STEP BET! Okay so, let’s talk for a minute. I’ve never done a step bet. I’m 100% a newb. But, I need ya also to know that this summer... I was on the wagon, but then, I stopped for a Bacon cheeseburger, fries, a few too many tacos, and an Oreo milk shake while on my happy lil way.. then I accidentally set that wagon on fire. We all have rough days... weeks... months? Right? Gosh, I hope so because this Mama isn’t perfect and guess what? I NEED A FRESH START! I thought this would be perfect thing to get my butt back into it because hellooooo... I absolutely cannot lose my own step bet because yes, that would be just a smidge humiliating. So I’m here. I’m gonna show up for my health and get the ball rollin’ and I really want y’all to join me because I want to help encourage you and I kinda really need you to help encourage me! 🙌🏼


Some basic info:
StepBet generates each individuals personal goal by their level of fitness. There are 4 active days (kinda challenging), 2 power days (challenging), and 1 rest day (you don’t have to get out of bed if you don’t wanna)! The game is six weeks, but the first week is warm up week so you won’t get disqualified if you don’t reach your goals. You place a bet of 40$ on yourself and WHEN you reach your goal every day for those five weeks you’ll get to split the pot with the other winners! The game starts Monday September 3rd! •

Happy Friday, Folks! It’s movie night! Every Friday that we can we make “Movie Night”. It’s honestly one of my favorite nights of the week, growing up my parents, sister, and I always watched TGIF (anyone remember that!?) and then a movie on Friday nights, oh my gosh.... y’all we rented a movie at an actual movie store! Oh the good ol’ days... As much as I want to get a bunch of treats for all of us- I usually stick to some homemade stove top popcorn, fruit, and veggies/dip! Pepper, Eric, and I are clementine fiends so I was stupid happy to find some at the store that actually taste good this time of year. The sack will probably be gone tomorrow. What’s your go to movie snack? 🍿

Y’all... have I told you lately how much I ♥️ Chicken Burrito Bowls because I really, really do. Not gonna beat around the bush- they take a little work, but the end result is so worth it that I don’t even care. (And neither will you!) Oldie, but goodie alert! These Breakfast Enchiladas are obviously a breakfast food, but they just so happy to be our favorite BRINNER! I use @olemex_labanderita tortillas, stuff’m full of sausage, potatoes, & eggs... then top’m off with country gravy and some cheese. These are insanely good and they reheat like a dream for breakfast the next day! Are you guys BIG fans of Brinner Night like me!? ••
