A Texas man is fighting the courts over child support payments for a little girl who is not biologically his. Back in 2003, a support court ruled that Gabriel Cornejo would have to cough up child support payments since his ex girlfriend, who has not been named, named him as the father. Then, the state of Texas was granted a default judgement and they began processing funds from Cornejo's check, but he never contested it.
The only problem is that Cornejo never knew that he could possibly be the father of this child until last year. After submitting to DNA testing, he found out that he wasn't the father. Unfortunately, he is S.O.L. due to a legal loophole that favors his ex.
