How do you avoid your newborn baby from becoming overtired? From expert Sleep Consultant Maggie Moore of @getmooresleep: .
.
"Avoid the overtired state - try to get them to nap every 45 to an hour max. This will help prevent them from becoming overtired. Another tip: put them to bed drowsy but awake when they get a little older, around 6-8 weeks."

Let's be honest...who else is totally singing some @britneyspears right now? 🎶
.
.
Speaking of singing, did you know that some clinicians believe that singing in pregnancy is good for both you AND your baby? Many think that it can help reduce pain, increase your oxygen levels, and give your unborn baby a relaxing ‘sound massage.' Do you find yourself singing more in pregnancy? 📷: lovebug.photography.ny

Tonight we are so excited to be speaking with Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant Jennifer Tipton from @sweetnestsleep about all things BABY NAPS – important topics like how to establish a nap routine, how to lengthen daytime naps, and more!
.
✨Jennifer has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and is a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant. She specializes in serving infants and toddlers ages 0-5 and believes that sleep is not a "one size fits all" approach. She loves working with families to hear their specific needs and philosophies regarding baby sleep to help create plans that are best for them!

What is your best parenting hack to stay organized as a new mom? 📷: @taraprobst

Do you have any questions on proper usage? Here's a breakdown. Your Ollie should ALWAYS:
1. Start below your little one’s shoulders &
2. Be tied directly below your little one's feet with the elastic loop.
.
.
Here’s why:
1. There should never be fabric around your little one's neck and face, as it is a safety risk. The Ollie was designed to be different than other swaddles by ensuring no fabric comes near your little one's neck and face.⠀ ⠀
2. Safety of the shoulder joints. Just like hip joints, shoulder joint development is also critical. So, your Ollie was designed to ensure there is no downward pull or constraint on the shoulder joints. ⠀
3. The elastic loop helps to ensure your Ollie remains in place, below the shoulders. ⠀

Did you know? Your Ollie is designed to have an individualized fit to meet the needs and size of your amazing little one. You can create a custom fit with such things as the level of tightness and also even your little one's arm position.
.
.
For example, some little ones need a little more oral soothing and prefer their hands to be by their mouth, and you can absolutely accommodate this need with your Ollie. We have some pics to demonstrate a few variations with arm positions. Swipe to see! .
.
As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to us directly at care@theollieworld.com. Thank you always for your love and support!

Q: Why add the Ollie logo to your swaddle?
.
.
A: Our mission here at @theollieworld is to see every baby flourish. Your little one's safety is our top priority, so we wanted to make it even easier to ensure proper usage of the Ollie. We have added the Ollie logo to your swaddle as another level of safety. The logo will assist you in making sure the Ollie is used correctly, since it will always be below the shoulders, several inches away from your little one's chin, and within the chest area. As your little one grows, the logo will begin migrating slightly, but it will always remain within the chest area, below the shoulders, and several inches below your little one's chin. .
.
