💥If your goal is to add muscle mass and get stronger, I highly recommend adding deadlifts into your routine. •
I’ve been hitting deadlifts twice per week and it’s been working great. Mondays, I’ll hit conventional style deadlifts. And Thursdays, ill hit deficit deadlifts. -
The reason I do deficits: the increased range of motion (ROM). This will put the lifter at a disadvantage, increase time under tension (TUT), and elongate the amount of time a lifter must work through the bottom end of the movements – which is typically the most challenging or weakest link.

Additionally, it offers the benefit of teaching someone how to really drive out of the bottom half. The increased amount of hip flexion, and generally more vertical torso angle needed to achieve a good position in the deficit pull will stress the duty of the quadriceps to break you from the ground.

Henry Rollins always said, “200 lbs is 200 lbs and the iron never lies.” The only thing changing is YOU. You’re either getting better/stronger or not. The difference is the way you’re approaching everything. Do you do EVERYTHING you can to succeed by welcoming failure and chasing the tremendous pain that comes with it? Do you give it your ALL everytime you step in the trenches? Or, are you half-assing it expecting to see the same results while your surrounded with others who are killing it? •
My whole life I've heard people say in order to be successful at something all you gotta do is "work hard" and You’ll see results. SCREW WORKING HARD. If you want to accomplish something, you need to be obsessed with it. Let it consume your thoughts and dreams. That shit should be the first thing on your mind when you wake up and the last thing on your mind when you fall asleep. No matter how difficult the challenges, no matter how many times you fall on your ass or get knocked down, decide to be the person that gets right back up. Don’t run after challenges, sprint after them. Is your life hard? Good. You’re on the right track. Your job is to keep moving towards those challenges because every single time you dare to do what scares you, you build CHARACTER. And this is what shapes your destiny. •

Last night, I was out with a bunch of friends and 3 separate people came up to me and told me I've motivated and inspired them in one way or another because of seeing a social post or seeing me bust my ass in the gym. You have no idea how good that makes me feel and I appreciate you all for that but it is YOU guys that inspire me. I truly mean that. When I'm in the gym or at work, I am constantly impressed by so many people I'm constantly seeing who work their asses off chasing down their dreams. This is contagious. Positivity is so very important so let's keep that going by seeing the good in others and push each other to be the fucking BEST versions of ourselves. Any challenge that presents itself, always remember, YOU CAN DO ANYTHING. All you have to do is make the decision to go after it! All things are possible to be who believes so don't stop believing ! 🙌🏼💯

Want a shredded midsection? Try hitting your abs 5-6 times per week with weighted resistance and incorporate advanced techniques like super sets and giant sets. •
Here is what I tried today as a giant set:
1-knees to chest with banded resistance (to failure).
2-knees to chest with a band w less resistance (to failure).
3-leg raises to failure.
4-crunches to failure.
