Good morning! It's been a while since I've taken the time to write a good morning post... But I often find purpose to be the best alarm clock so here goes nothing ✌🏻 So according to the @forbes list, there are 5 things all successful people do daily. Here's the list, and how I generally think they should be applied... 1. Exercise. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again. Most people that work out daily, work out in the morning. Whether it’s a morning yoga session or a trip to the gym, exercise gives you that endorphin release and mental focus to do what you need to do.
2. Map Out Your Day. Maximize your time by mapping out your schedule for the day, as well as your goals and to dos. The morning is a good time for this as it is often one of the only quiet times a person gets throughout the day. Keep a diary, and write a to do list ticking off as you go... 3. Eat a Healthy Breakfast. Take that extra time in the morning to fuel your body for the tasks ahead of it. Fat and protein based breakfasts are better for cognitive function, but if it's a hit of sugar or nothing at all - chances are you'll have a major lull before lunch.
4. Visualization. Even just a minute of visualization and positive thinking can help improve your mood and outlook on your work load for the day.
5. Make Your Day Top Heavy. Basically doing the shit bits first. We all have that one item on our to do list that we dread. Save yourself the stress – do that least desirable task on your list first.
For me at least, I find doing all these things everyday helps me remain focused and stay happy... so give it some thought or even execute it to the letter. Haters are always going to hate... But you don't need them as part of your culture.
At first they'll ask why you're doing it, but then they'll ask how you did it.
