The Model Adviser  Advice Giver/ Model Manager Sharing Advice and Photos of your Favorite Models Beverly Hills, CA πŸ’‘πŸŒ΄ FREE MODEL GUIDEπŸ‘‡πŸΌ

Aspiring models all around the world often ask me if certain agencies are legit. The biggest piece of advice I can offer is to do your research on everything industry related. Do research on the agency, see if it's reputable, do research on the photographer and make sure his work is what an agency wants to see, do research on make-up artists to see their style, and so on and so on. At the end of the day, if you don't do your research and something goes wrong, the only person you have to blame is yourself, and I don't want to see that happen. I beg all models and aspiring models to double check everything, including contracts. Modeling is an amazing and fun opportunity and if that is what you want, be smart so you can have a long lasting career.

The harder you work, the "luckier" you become. #TheModelAdviser πŸ’•

If you've submitted to modeling agencies without getting a reply back, remember sometimes less is more. Don't submit photos to agencies wearing a lot of make-up, filters, or photoshop. Those submissions go right into the trash. πŸ‘‹πŸΌπŸ‘ΈπŸΌπŸ—‘

The biggest thing holding back aspiring models is the limiting beliefs and stories they tell themselves about their circumstances or abilities. You can tell yourself you'll work harder today, or someday. Which is it?

Go to bed with dreams, wake up with plans

Modeling is a business and you ARE the business...Remember this! It's important to have work hours even if castings or photoshoots are slow. There are many other ways to utilize and maximize every day and build a brand for a long lasting career. I've seen too many models not take their "business" as serious as they should, then they wonder why work slows down or stops all together. Don't let that be you.πŸ’•

Huge News Guys!
I just opened up enrollment to my new Model Launch Program! Its an online video training program designed for people who don't want to wait to be discovered. After modeling for 10yrs, then becoming a Model Manager, I've been fortunate to know BOTH sides of the business. I've worked with Guess, Maxim, Elle Magazine, Playboy, top toy companies, and the biggest modeling agencies in the world just to name a few. My program shows you how to be a successful model on your own!
If you'd like, you can sign up for a limited time discount rate of only $49. Good for the first 200 people only. Sign up at the link in my bio or head to for free info. Super exciting πŸ’•

If modeling was so easy, everybody would have successful careers doing it. You have to not only want it, but you have to push harder than the next person. The people hoping to be discovered are not going the extra mile. Before I was a Talent Manager I was a model for over 10yrs. I wasn't "discovered". I had to work for it and I know you can too. πŸ’•

If you can dream it, you can build it!
Don't let anyone tell you that you can't model. There are so many types of models and if it's your passion, prove it! I'm sick of emails and DMs of potential models talking themselves out of what could be a good future for them. Please don't tell me that so & so agency denied you, or you're too short. You're just looking in the wrong places. #toughlove πŸ’•

Question from follower:
What's the best modeling agency to submit to?
There's no one word answer to that. That depends on multiple things like where do you live and what type of model are you ( to say the least). Are you a fitness model? Child model? Curve model? Runway?

I believe in networking and getting out to meet people, especially for those that are entrepreneurs or in the modeling/fashion industry. However, there's a right way and a wrong way to "network". Don't let going out take over your life. The models that make it and hold on it are the ones who take their career seriously. I honestly can say living here in LA I have seen so many models come and go because they treated "networking" as a party. Let others go out until 4am and party/sleep their life away. Less competition.

If you can't stop thinking about it, don't stop working for it. Don't wait to be "scouted". #TheModelAdviser
