Actor Gerard Butler says he is all about insights, dreams and epiphanies.

The actor said he saw a dream about being at a naval base, which turned into a reality with his submarine thriller "Hunter Killer". "I actually had a dream. I'm all about insights, dreams, epiphanies and I had this dream that I was on a naval base, couldn't quite tell whether I was making the movie or I was just living on a naval base but it was the most incredible dream that I felt so connected to everybody and when I woke up," Butler said in a statement to IANS. "It was the same thing, I had the same dream about being an actor when I was much younger, it was the same, when I woke up I went to the producer and said we must make this movie. I tell you it's my destiny to make this film," he added.

A total of 400 petrol pumps, many with CNG dispensing units, began a day-long strike on Monday in protest against delhi government's refusal to reduce VAT on fuels.

The Delhi Petrol Dealers Association (DPDA) said the delhi government's inaction was hampering their business as the neighbouring states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh were attracting more consumers after slashing their fuel prices.

Criticising the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party government's refusal to address the VAT issue making fuel prices costlier in the city, the DPDA said it would also increase pollution in the National Capital Region as the quality of fuel sold in the peripheral states was inferior in quality.

The difference in prices has led to sharp drop of up to 50 to 60 per cent in sale of diesel in Delhi and 25 per cent in petrol in this quarter, DPDA President Nischal Singhania said.

Hurricane Willa surged to a dangerous Category Four storm off Mexico's Pacific coast, US forecasters said Sunday, warning of a life-threatening storm surge and heavy winds and rainfall.

The monster storm was 340 kilometers (210 miles) south-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico, packing top sustained winds of 230 kilometers per hour. "Extremely dangerous... Hurricane Willa continues to rapidly strengthen (and is) forecast to produce life-threatening storm surge, wind and rainfall over portions of southwestern and west-central Mexico beginning on Tuesday," the Miami-based National Hurricane Center warned.

It was churning forward north-northwest, at a slow nine kilometers per hour, the forecast said. "Additional strengthening is expected during the next day or so, and Willa is forecast to be a dangerous hurricane when it reaches the coast of Mexico," the NHC said.
Mexico's government has put various parts of the coast on alert.

Meghan, the pregnant wife of Britain's Prince Harry, emerged from her break from official duties Monday to greet excited fans on the stunning World Heritage-listed Fraser Island during the royal couple's Australian tour.

The Duchess of Sussex skipped most of the day's events on the island off Queensland state, after a packed tour that has seen the pair travel to Sydney, Melbourne and the regional town of Dubbo since touching down in Australia last Monday.

But she appeared in the late afternoon for a public meet-and-greet with her husband, delighting the large crowd at Kingfisher Bay.

Wearing a striped linen maxi dress with a thigh-high split, reportedly by sustainable LA brand Reformation, the pair walked down the jetty and received more baby gifts -- including quilts and stuffed toys -- from the locals.

One 16-year-old boy, who was carrying the sign "Meghan Markle you make my world sparkle" was so excited that he had met the Duchess that he forgot what she said to him.

A $20-billion bridge connecting Hong Kong and Macau to the mainland Chinese city of Zhuhai is set to finally open this week, marking the completion of the longest sea-crossing bridge ever built, nine years after construction began.

Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to attend a ceremony in Zhuhai on Tuesday, along with top officials from Hong Kong and Macau, with the bridge opening to public traffic Wednesday, CNN reported on Monday.

The 55 km bridge was originally due to open in 2016, but repeated delays pushed that to this year.

The Abu Dhabi Police have warned of a new trick that allows remotely transferring of money from credit cards’ balances.
Such magnetic techniques showed weaknesses and security breaches in cards abroad, in terms of possibility to leak and penetrate data of bank customers.
This has been known after a number of videos went viral on the Internet showing withdrawal of funds once the suspected card reader passes near or touches pockets of the victims, without touching the cards at shopping centres.
Colonel Omran Ahmed Al Mazroui, Acting Director of the CID at the Abu Dhabi Police emphasised that the security authorities in the country received no complaints about such activity.
He called on the public to be cautious, and urged them to be vigilant when using their cards, specifically abroad. Hackers can exploit this trick to uncover PINs through breaking security and encryptions of credit cards.
