I've always believed that IG is an extremely helpful tool to achieve whatever goal you set for yourself. How? It's a tangible way to track progress and to help stay accountable for your actions. Also, it's harder to screw up and back out of things when people are watching πŸ˜…

For this reason, I'm officially leaving the "Lifestyle" part of my fitness journey (for now) and entering prep mode πŸ‘ŠπŸΌ "So you're gonna start cutting?" No. I have 14 weeks left of my bulk but bulking was always harder for me than cutting. It's my way of keeping myself accountable to bulk effectively.

Honestly, I must say that the material is f*cking comfy and soft as hell and will definitely keep you warm with the AC in full blast at the gym. Oh and most importantly, it's guns friendly πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

You can bet your ass it wasn't smooth sailing the entire way. In this 7 year time frame (been training for 10) years), there have been so many setbacks, challenges and obstacles I had to face and overcome.

My lifestyle progress may not seem that impressive when compared to others, but I'm damn proud to say that I achieved this without the use of any PEDs (performance enhancing drugs). PEDs have the ability to bypass and alter certain human physiological function, which is why without them, I really had to learn and listen to my body and experiment with many nutrition and training protocols to see how they would affect my progress.

To be honest, I do not see my current physique as the reward for all the years of work I put in. For me, the real reward is the knowledge and experience I gained along the way. They're two things I can not only carry with me for the rest of my life, but it can also be shared with others. I will continue this lifestyle and learn for the rest of my life, but it's only just the beginning.

Trust me, there will be days when your brain tells you to stay home and skip a training session. It's pretty much telling you, "F*ck training πŸ–•πŸΌ, you need to rest so you can hit it hard another day."

To beginner trainees, pressing 1 plate per side may seem pretty heavy and impressive. But that's the problem with comparing numbers. You can't compare your "Chapter 1" of training to someone else's "Chapter X".

Last Feb 2017, I was pressing 55 kg for a 4x6. That's 11 months πŸ˜… Let's put that into perspective. In that time, @jpyap and @stefprescott made a baby (#BabyY) and he's now 2 months old...I managed to add 8 kg to my OHP. Yay me 😝

2014 vs. 2018. It's been 4 years of hitting legs 3x per week. 4 yeaaaarssssss. But hey, that's natural bodybuilding for ya. Sometimes progress is like watching paint dry...on a rainy day πŸ˜… The pose may be different but I definitely feel like I've added thickness to my wheels πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ

So let me answer it on here. It's the people I see almost everyday at the gym. Young men and women (some even under 20 years old) who are already knowledgable in nutrition, IIFYM, proper training, powerlifting, bodybuilding, powerbuilding, etc. It's individuals who set goals for themselves and instead of wanting to be spoon-fed how to achieve them, they do their own research. It's the people who go through major and minor setbacks, but learn how to push through and make amazing comebacks.
