A few surprise brews hidden in the GP & Friends Laneway events.

This was a pretty tasty affair that would require several visits....

2nd stop with the DTC fam. Past the Garage Project and into the snug GP taproom!

DTC on tour! First proper bar check-in in Wellington.

Been so keen to visit for such a long time!

On of our FAVOURITE cans of Saison!

Such a fun Farmhouse Ale that nails the brief of the style.
Light and bright with complimenting fruity esters. How can a beer be so refreshing and clean, yet complex and nuanced? Go figure..... Stock available at DTCs retail section.

Berro is jetsetting off to New Zealand for a long awaited holiday, and is feeling GLORIOUS because of it!!! This Hazy Pale Ale from Lord Hobo Brewing (Massachusetts) seems to be a fitting beverage to celebrate.
Glorious by name and Glorious by nature... A double dose of Aussie Galaxy hops gives this juicy 6.5% APA lashings of stonefruit, mandarine and mango on both aroma and palate.
Throw in a moreish pulpy and creamy body, and you got a hazebois perfect Pale Ale!!!

Tapping a relatively new member of the IPA family this Thursday in honour of International IPA Day - Feral Dank Blanc, a Brut IPA.

This super dry IPA, is clean, clear with a fistful of hops (Nelson, Citra, Amarilla and Mosaic Lupulin pellets). Expect an Iron Fist beneath the Velvet Glove.....

Another bucketlist beer ticked off the list!! Lost Abbey have always been a personal favorite at DTC, but have been so damn hard to get a hold of!!! Lost Abbey Red Poppy was one of those beers out of reach for so long, but no longer!! Sour Cherries have been added to a Brown Ale that has spent 6 months in barrel.

More than a nod is made to the Belgian Flemish Brown Ales where the Red Poppy can be found.
The tartness of the base beer, bursting cherry flavour and oak influence create a harmony in this beer that is hard to find!

Well, what an interestingly named collab this is!
Weird Beard from the UK has hooked up with Electric Nurse from Sweden to create a classic 10.2% English Barleywine.

Bearded Nurse is tawny in colour with a nourishing stewed fruit and butterscotch nose. Caramel, boozy brandied Christmas cake and biscotti are a few of the wide medley of flavours layed in this fortified beverages.

Highly suggested to enjoy next to a roaring potbelly fire - just like I am doing right now!!!

Friday Lunch Special is doggone tasty!! Our Chorizo Dog with the Lot and round of fries is only made better with a combination of either Hawkers Pilsner or Pale Ale..... $20 for lot, between 12.00pm and 3.00pm.

After a hard week at the bar, this little number certainly rejuvenated me like a Phoenix out of fire - born again so to say!! This wet hopped and unfiltered Pale Ale delivers a full hop farm into your thirsty gob!

More tropical fruit than Carmen Miranda's headwear, this 7.2% Hazy Pale delivers serious fruity aroma and flavours!

Get on it before we drink it all....

Brekeriet is flowing through our taps!! They are as tasty as they are pretty!! These Wild Ales will certainly brighten up the dreary weather..... Plenty of packaged beers available for takeaway as well...

As part of their 'Botanicals and Barrels' Series, Avery Brewing Co have concocted this heavenly 10.9% Vanilla Bean Imperial Stout. "A double dose of vanilla derived from both fresh Bourbo barrels and the trio of Tongan, Ugandan and Mecican whole vanila beans is complimented by essences of chocolate, caramel and molasses to round out this luxuriously silky stout"

My only problem with this beer is possibly the error of opening this on a school night.....but goddam, its glorious!

Very limited numbers available at DTC's retail section now.
