Today we revisit an artist we have long admired – Sydney painter Leah Fraser aka @lelefraser! Leah’s latest works are more haunting and complex than ever. We adore her naive, intuitive painting style, and those intense layers of flora and fauna. Spectacular stuff! Leah’s latest exhibition, ‘Within You Without You‘, opens March 2 at @arthousegallery. Today, we profile the beautiful, bare-bones little beach shack of Jeff Provan (@openjournal_neometro and @jaypee1 !) and his wife Mariko in Mount Martha. This relaxed family weekender is the ultimate summer sanctuary, and a case study in understated styling. Stunning shots by @evegwilson - link to full story in profile 👆.

Oh hello it’s ME again (Lucy) sharing another deliciously simple green salad for TASTY TUESDAY. Whenever I am called on to ‘bring a salad’ - this is it. Drum roll… it’s CARNIVAL time! Today we’re showcasing a new line of home textiles by Kate & Kate (@kateandkatehome) x Arent & Pyke (@arentpykestudio / @arentpyke_inout). The ‘Carnival’ winter 2017 range includes bedlinen, blankets and table linen - we love the ‘Pom Pom’ printed linen throw with its bold, painterly pattern. See more on TDF (link in profile👆). Once a chook pen and slimy-bricked space, David Whitworth’s inner-Sydney share-house garden is today a densely lush labour of love. For this young green thumb, the joy of gardening is found in the process – whether that be adopting ailing plants or searching for new ways to fit them in! Our gardens columnist Georgina Reid aka @theplanthunter gives us a tour on TDF today, with pics by @daniel_shipp - link in bio 👆.

Today our monthly columnist Madeleine Dore of @extraordinary_routines shares with us the daily routine of Amanda Henderson, founder and director of Melbourne's visual-merchandising phenomenon @gloss.creative. Amanda’s routine is about protecting her creative longevity and renewal. Find some relief in her outline of gains to be had from procrastinating, and advice on how to NOT get wound up by 'busyness'.
