The Dalmore  The Dalmore Distillery has been producing exceptional single malt whisky since 1839

“It takes time, effort and vision to create an expression as complex as The Dalmore 40 years old, moving the rare stocks of whisky between casks to build layer upon layer of character. When you bring it all together, it creates something very special indeed.” – Master Distiller @richard.paterson

The Dalmore’s Fortuna Meritas Collection offers four expressions finished in different sherry casks.
The Dalmore Dominium is finished in Matusalem, The Regalis in Amoroso, The Luceo in Apostoles and The Valour in Matusalem in addition to port pipes.
Available exclusively through travel retail.

Rich in body, structure and character, The Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve offers scents of rich caramel and shortcake biscuits which develop into a burst of caramel on the palate. The perfect complement to a fine cigar.

“The Dalmore Distillery Exclusive Vintage 2000 offers a harmonious balance between the sweet notes of Californian Merlot and the signature flavours of The Dalmore house style. “Bottled at natural strength and with notes of chocolate truffle, coffee and black toffee, this year’s exclusive distillery release is a treat worth snapping up for any visitors to our distillery.” – Master Distiller Richard.Paterson

Master Distiller Richard.Paterson has achieved a number of world firsts throughout his illustrious career.

This includes the world’s only six-cask matured whisky, The Dalmore King Alexander III.

The finest aged Port pipes from renowned winemakers W&J Graham’s adds a fruitier palate to The Dalmore’s Vintage Port Collection.

The Dalmore 12 year old, with its intricate aromas and flavours, is recognised as a whisky with character far beyond its age.
Matured for an initial nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then divided for its final flourish. One half remains in the bourbon barrels, while the other is transferred to exclusive 30 year old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem oloroso sherry butts before they are reunited to create this phenomenal whisky.

The Dalmore Vintage Port Collection is the latest in a long line of ground-breaking single malt releases from the distillery.
The Dalmore Vintage Port 2001, aged 15 years, imparts aromas of exotic spices, cinnamon, raisins and tangerines dipped in chocolate. On the palate can be found caramelised peaches, freshly baked bread and Morello cherries, while the finish leaves Turkish delight, figs and coffee.

The release of The Dalmore 40 comes during the year of celebrations to mark Master Distiller @richard.paterson's 50th year in the whisky industry.
This limited expression offers aromas of rich Colombian coffee and sweet sultanas, while on the palate flavours of gingerbread and brioche dipped in Manuka honey can be savoured.

Presenting The Dalmore 40.
Underlining The Dalmore’s pioneering heritage in the art of maturation, The Dalmore 40 has been matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. It is then transferred into 30 year old Gonzalez Byass Matsualem oloroso sherry butts, lastly undertaking a final flourish in first fill bourbon barrels.

The Dalmore enjoys a longstanding relationship with the world renowned Gonzalez Byass bodegas, granting the distillery exclusive access to rare 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, used to hold and mature many of The Dalmore’s whiskies.

The second expression from The Dalmore Vintage Port Collection is the 1998 release, aged 18 years.
The Dalmore Vintage Port 1998 imparts aromas of English marmalade, Satsuma plums, vanilla and blackcurrants. Honeyed bananas, blueberries and grape can be found on the palate while the finish leads with damson plums, dark treacle and Christollen cake.
