The Dalmore  The Dalmore Distillery has been producing exceptional single malt whisky since 1839

A timeless addition to The Dalmore portfolio, this whisky has been created using a special three wood profile; a 35 year old Highland Single Malt brings together the influence of a Bourbon barrel, a Matusalem 30 year old Oloroso Sherry butt and a rare vintage 1970 Port Colheita Pipe.

The Dalmore 15 is an exceptional whisky with earthy tones.

This smooth malt combines a mixture of spices with the sweetness of vanilla and mandarin.

A delicate and approachable vintage, the expression is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks.

The character of The Dalmore 15 is achieved by then splitting the whisky equally between three different sherry woods; Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem oloroso The spirit is finally married together in an upstanding sherry butt, allowing the flavours to infuse.

The expression marks half a century of Richard’s pioneering whisky-making career and is exceptionally rare with just 50 bottles available.

The Dalmore Quintessence is the first and only single malt whisky in the world with a five red wine cask finish. Master Distiller @richard.paterson shares the story behind the expression.

The Dalmore Valour combines the power of three exceptional casks.

Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks; the spirit is then transferred to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry wood casks from Gonzalez Byass, before being finessed in Port pipes from the Douro region in Portugal.

The Dalmore Astrum is one of the distillery’s highly prized expressions.

Named after the Latin word for constellation, the Astrum is a beacon of light shining through the darkness of a lengthy maturation.

Left in American white oak casks since 1966 it was given a final flourish for 18 months in 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts from Gonzalez Byass.

As part of Richard Paterson’s 50th year celebrations, The Dalmore is showcasing the legendary releases that have been created by its Master Distiller.
A truly inspirational character, Richard is constantly striving to create whiskies like no other.
One such expression is The Dalmore Trinitas, a 64 year old single malt that is as exceptional as it is rare.
Containing some of the oldest and rarest whiskies in the world, only three bottles were produced.

A true piece of artistic mastery, this is the world’s only single malt with a six red-wine cask finish.

Developed in honour of The Dalmore’s heritage, The Dalmore King Alexander III pays tribute to the Mackenzie Clan who saved King Alexander III from a charging stag in 1263.
Painstakingly created – this malt is the only one in the world to unite a unique six cask finish. The spirit is matured in ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques, with each flavour combining in in perfect harmony to create a complex, yet smooth single malt.

Smooth, rich and well rounded, The Dalmore 15 is the epitome of the distillery’s house style.
Following 12 years of maturation in American white oak casks, the whisky is split between three different sherry woods for the final three years before coming back together in a sherry butt allowing the flavours to infuse.
The result - an exquisite and full bodied infusion which is a privilege to drink.
