Boys night with his bestie for the birthday boy. Complete with laser tag, nerf, and video games...and no girls allowed πŸ˜‚ #sisterproblems

Back in Cali and back to normal life. We had such an amazing trip that we are really missing the East Coast. I mean come on, we just don't get color like that here! I'm a cooler weather girl, so that crisp Fall Boston weather was my jam. Still waiting for Fall to arrive here in Southern California. 😀

Today was spent in Concord walking the actual roads that Paul Revere and the British troops took and where the start of the Revolutionary war happened. The visitors center there had an AWESOME short film that tells the story and shows you where it all happened. They've tried to keep the area much like it would've looked like back then. Aside from it being a gorgeous fall day, it was one of my favorite things we've done here. One more day and then home 😒

Had to take some pictures of these little turkeys with these gorgeous fall colors. I think I'm going to miss that most of all when we go home. πŸπŸ‚

We had a jam packed day in Boston and we are feelin it! We walked the first half of the freedom trail, which takes you past historical landmarks of the revolutionary war. Some of our favorites were the cemetery where Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, and John Hancock were buried, Paul Revere's house, and the Old North Church. Our feet are sore, but it was worth it to see Boston on foot. Such a beautiful city!

Spent today in Newport, Rhode Island. A really cute and quaint little town with cobblestone streets and tons of New England charm. I wish we had more time to explore. We did a tour of The Breakers, which was a Vanderbilt summer home and that was ah-mazing! Another place to put on your bucket list if you're ever out this way.

So we weren't quite sure how we were going to pull off trick or treating while on vacation, but last minute someone recommended Beacon Hill and HOLY COW PEOPLE!!! The streets were full of people and kids surrounded by the most beautiful Victorian row houses. Most of them were decked out for Halloween while the owners sat on the steps handing out candy to thousand of trick or treaters. Still geeking out. πŸ€“ (there's more on my stories)

Wow! Lots of emotions on this one. So amazing to see where this all happened, and it makes me so grateful for all the freedoms we have.

First time ever seeing a real lighthouse and it was a perfectly chilly and overcast New England day πŸπŸ‚

We studied American history this past year for school, so it's such a cool experience to see it firsthand. It also makes me realize what a geek I really am😜. #totallygeekingout
