It really is a plan that works no matter who you are or where you come from! I have absolutely loved the variety of recipes in every cycle & have never really felt hungry or that I was missing out. When you can have delicious Macaroni Cheese, fabulous pizza & French toast with caramelised apples, what’s not to like?! I continued to run 5k twice during the week interspersed with a couple of HIITs then I either did another HIIT or a longer 10k run at the weekends. I have never used weights before & the ones I’m using now are only 5kg. I am proper weedy but I give it my best shot! I started a separate Instagram page to track my journey & found writing a daily β€˜diary’ really motivational & a great way to record my moods & milestones. My only issue was that sometimes the food was so tasty, I forgot to take a photo! I am over the moon to have completed the 90 day plan & feel like I have learnt the skills to continue on my journey. I know that there is still a fair amount of wobble to go & I am definitely a work in progress! Not bad for an old bird though....I’ll be 56 in August! So here I am...10kg & 20 inches lost! 😊 β€œI've used Joe's Lean in 15 books for some time but wanted the structure of the plan to make me more accountable and keep me on track - what a great decision that was! 90 days later and I've lost 30.5 inches and 11kg and I couldn't be happier. The exercises are fantastic, they're really varied for each cycle and so easy to fit into your working day. The recipes are amazing! My husband had done the plan before and had really good results so I had to try it out.
Each Cycle is great and so structured with the 3 meals a day and 2 snacks which is what I needed. Curries, Pizza and pancakes have been my favourite. I have learnt its all about being clever with what you eat and when (only eating carbs when you have worked out, fats when you haven’t) I have really enjoyed the workouts especially the weights in Cycle 2 and 3 which keep it different and exciting.
