We see these quite a bit on program, here are some quick tips and cues to help you shorten your learning curve and really get the most out of this awesome complex!

◼️Set your core
◼️stay in your phone booth (no chest deviation in the dip)
◼️On the push jerk, the feet should land as you’re elbows lock out! No presses!
◼️ Don’t forget to breathe! The reps on these get up there in this cycle, don’t compromise technique because you’re out of breath!

2. Set your core, back is tight, chest is up, and arms are LOOSE

FINDING YOUR POWER POSITION 101:
@cal_strength head coach and mastermind behind the BarbellWOD Dave Spitz talked through some keys to the power position today during a snatch camp at Home base. Use this system when finding your power position,

1. Assign grip- the bar should be ABOVE the pubis bone and BELOW the hip bone, right in that fulcrum where we can generate force.
2. Feet should be just at hip width, toes forward during the pull. Keep your weight distributed in the MIDDLE of the foot (anchor that big toe into the ground)
3. Keep your head and spine NEUTRAL!
4. While keeping your torso vertical, drop your knees a few inches, then HINGE at the hip to cover the bar with your shoulders.

3 QUICK CUES to help you improve your clean pull TODAY📋

1. Starting the lift with a braced core and set back is HUGE! Being loose off the ground is a sure fire way to have the weight pull you forward and throw you off balance.
2. Keep your arms LONG and RELAXED as you squeeze the bar off the ground with your legs, keep your chest up to set up a linear bar path close to the body.
3. Drive off of a FULL FOOT as you finish your pull, think about anchoring your big toe to the ground keeping your weight over your ankles. Shifting forward onto your toes will turn off your hamstrings and send the bar out AWAY FROM YOU instead of UP, this will keep the bar close to the body 👍🏼
