I've been in a creative slump lately, and it's not due to a lack of inspiration. It's not easy getting people to trust my ideas for photos and that's a major flaw in myself as a photographer. Well, I asked to shoot some portraits at a #DMVsocial affair and @poyesha gave me complete creative control. Needless to say, she also went above and beyond with flawless makeup, headscarf (by @abeillecreations) and dress.

I love creative people. I don't want to shout some that have me feeling like crap because they're so damned awesome but I appreciate their existence. Some of them I've never met. Stay doing your thing, people. We all want to be great at something.
