Tonight we picked up some valuable style tips from @thetimes’ Fashion Director Anna Murphy at @thefoldlondon ⚡️💅🏻👠
Here were our favourites:
1) If you are wearing all-black, make it interesting. For example, rather than a black T-Shirt, wear a black top with some structure and silhouette.
2) The ankle is one of the slimmest parts of our body, so it’s always flattering to have the ankle showing. So THIS is why cropped trousers are so trendy rn!
3) Take off your bottoms and cover yourself with just a towel (...wait, there’s more 😂). Look at yourself in a full length mirror and slide the edge of that towel slowly down until it reaches your feet. There are always two spots where the towel looks most flattering against your legs, so use those points as a guideline for the length of your skirts. It apparently works a dream!
If you love tips like these, be sure to pick up a copy of Anna’s new book ‘How Not to Wear Black’. We clearly didn’t think that one through when we came to the launch dressed head-to-toe in all black everything 😂🙈🖤
