Flight C! With minor adjustments. To be completely transparent I had to be put in the 75 kg class. After months of dieting and what I hoped was a well laid plan my body said nope! I wasn't willing to put my body through what I would have to, to get down to 67.5. Did I feel like a failure? Hell yeah but I know I tried everything I could do, including dropping my calories to an unsafe amount, to drop weight. The cool thing about this sport is that it forces us (females ) to not fear scale weight, a raise means more muscle, which in turn, means more strength. I'm lucky to still be lifting here and I'm grateful for the opportunity and grateful I have a supportive coach, team, and boyfriend that have my back. No clue with how things will go tomorrow and I'm nervous as hell but also really excited to see where all that hard work these past months will go!
