Andrew Miller  Philadelphia based Industrial Designer with a car problem

I spent some time tonight making new brushes in photoshop and shaking off rust. Lots of work to do on this rendering, but something is starting to come out of crap.

Made it a few hours ago. Running from a storm all the way across Texas.

This city is touristy AF, but it's still pretty rad. I think I found all of the whiskey and saw some pretty exceptional musicians.

1000 miles down, 700 to go. I have a new respect for commercial truck drivers. The trailered car only adds to the sluggishness of this thing.

I'm stuck in a rut with a few false starts this year in terms of drawing for fun. I have a plan to get back into it, but in the meantime here's a commission I did back in September? Of a Mustang GT.

The garage door opener broke this past week. With no power steering system and no steering wheel, I had to roll the e28 out of the garage, fix the opener, and roll it back. I got to vacuum all of the mouse/squirrel crumbs out while I was at it.

I had fun after work today

I'm learning to embrace the wandering and just enjoy the process... I know what I want the car to feel like, but I'm not quite sure how I want to get there. For now, just exploring

One of my favorite design stories: The Vignelli designed coffee cups for Heller. - one one the left was the original intent (notice the notch where the handle flows into the body). The one on the right was for the American market because we as a culture fill to excess and Heller wanted to avoid a lawsuit.

A lesson on how to make a useless car...
I will never be comfortable parallel parking, making tight right turns with curbs, and basically just driving in PA and it makes me kind of happy.

I've never really liked the e39 body style, but I really like this car.
