Back in the beltcave for a late night macro cap after a long day, another new low weight in and in dire need of a refeed:

The Double layered Protein pavlova.

All the way back to the Beltsander's cookbook Vol1.

It a little known fact that one of Mrs_thebeltsander's favourite things ever is pavlova.
To make a macro friendly version of this it needed to have all the elements correct and it took quite a few attempts to get it right. But was worth it to make a massive pavlova you can smash in one sitting.

Per slice 1/8:

Ideal for this time of the year.... Every now and again you trial a recipe and it just works pretty much perfectly first time (it's really rare but it does happen)

This one however needs a few more attempts to know if it's possible to make it any better.

This week I'll be a taking a totally unscheduled deload week.

Why?

Believe it or not, the water supply to the town I live in has suffered a catastrophic failure. We have had no running water since Friday and the latest news is that it won't be back on until the weekend.

What started as a mild inconvenience is fast becoming a full blown disaster with supermarkets selling out of water and water stations being setup throughout the town to keep us going. This has also led to my gym and most others in the town closing their doors.

It's a mess, people are furious (and rightly so) at being let down by a government which simply isn't doing enough to fix the problem. For me, in times of crises there are two schools of thought:

Option A: bitch and moan about the situation, tell everyone you meet about your turmoil and how imperative it is that you have the water back on and how awful your life has become as a result.

Option B: Embrace the challenge, play the hand you've been dealt, adapt to the situation and take what positives you can from it. Some people have to suffer this s**t full time.

While most people have a week of pissing and moaning ahead of them I'll be focusing on getting some quality running in, improving my conditioning, prioritise recovery, take many cold Navy showers and learning to adapt to the situation. Once I have the means to wash and feed my baby girl it's all good.

As with most things in life, attitude is everything.

Getting loads of questions regarding the barcodes from The Beltsander's cookbook Vol 3 and how they work with my fitness pal.

So I'm reposting this video because it explains it pretty well.

Here it is folks:

This is how simple it's going to be to track ALL the recipes you can make with my new ebook.

Every copy of my new book will include a page listing every recipe in the book and it's barcode. Simply print it out, stick it up somewhere handy and scan as you go.

There's a barcode for every recipe and the macros already pre logged on My Fitness pal for convince just scan the barcode and track your servings.

How easy is that? Interested?

My fitness pal barcodes are included for all recipes in my third Ebook (vol3)πŸ‘πŸΌ check the link in my bio for a preview of what's waiting inside πŸ™„ and as of now (if you haven't heard) you can get all three of my ebooks at a discounted price, look for the Beltsander Trilogy Deal on my website πŸ‘†πŸΌ.

Large barbecue chicken and pepperoni pizza.

Homemade pizza beats the hell out takeaway or shop bought every single time in my opinion. Not only does it taste better but pizza dough making is an enjoyable process.

Plus you can control the macros better because your making it from scratch. But if dough making still seems like a daunting task don't worry, there's a step by step guide with photos to guide you through the process on the path to macro friendly pizza in my ebook. If you've never made pizza before you should give it a shot, you'll be so proud of yourself... Calories:1268
