Leaked image of the to be Jaguar j-type. Well, it is, technically, meant to be an f-type EV, but due to the significant changes made to both the body and powertrain, it most likely will be named the j-type. This will then probably be the eventual successor to the f-type. Details are limited, but production may start in 2020. It's meant as a rival to the electric Porsche Taycan, and the McLaren 570s. It will have a mid engined V6 and at least 2 electric motors, one for each axle (4 wheel drive?). They're expected to produce over 550BHP. As this will be a hybrid car, it will be benchmarked using the Honda NSX as a target. It'll be the second production Jaguar (after the XJ220 of the 90's) to be mid engined. As the images show, it may look somewhat like the CX-75 that never made it to production a while ago. This could be Jaguars fastest vehicle yet.
