Sitting in the Luxembourg airport, looking through my camera roll and reflecting on this last year really makes me grateful for every single step I've taken on the road of this life. I couldn't be more certain that every road I've been on had gotten me to where I am at today, a place I am not only the most happy I've ever been, but also that I am extremely proud of. I started out pretty lost in 2017 but it ended up being one of the most significant years of my life. I've seen more of Europe than I ever imagined I'd see in my lifetime. I got my name put on an airplane, and I've been rewarded by my work more than I ever thought I would be. I've made friends who've become family, and cut people out of my life, some deserving, others not so much. I got my braces off and learned how to smile with my teeth. I've lived in another country, driven on the "wrong side" of the road. I learned how to save money. I found my forever. I've cried in more airports than I have in my own home. I learned how to love, really love, and appreciate someone beyond my own self and my needs. Which ultimately was facing my biggest fear. Taking the biggest risk that became the best part of my life. I have resolutions, goals... I always do. But that's not what I want to share. My point is, take the chance. Make the effort. Don't put anything outside of your window of opportunity. You are only limited to the limits that you set for yourself. Sometimes life hurts. Most times it requires sacrifice. One of the most significant things I've learned as an adult is, the world is SO much bigger then you think. Honoring tradition is important, but sometimes it's narrow minded and outdated. If you would have told my anxiety-ridden younger self that I would step outside my comfort zone in my lifetime as much as I have in one year, I might have actually had an aneurysm. LOL but DO THE THINGS THAT SCARE YOU. Find yourself in places you've never been. If you're struggling, reach out. There are always options and there are always ways to succeed and be happy. Happy 2018 πŸ₯‚

BABY I COULD DIE A HAPPY (WO)MAN πŸ˜πŸ€—πŸ€

It's not Thanksgiving anymore but I still wanted to make sure I let the internet know how thankful I am for this guy in my life πŸ€— I could ramble on about how perfect he is but all I really need to say is that I couldn't have gotten more lucky. Is it a coincidence we met on St. Patrick's Day? πŸ€πŸ˜‰πŸ’š Its only been like 12 hours but I'm already homesick for this guy. Yeah, I know I'm pathetic πŸ™ƒ and yes I did photoshop our eyeballs because I live in a hotel and I'm bored out of my mind πŸ˜‚

Diego Garcia this past week with the 100th wasn't a bad place to be in November. Back to reality today, and freezing my ass off!
