For the last few months since diagnosed with a lazy thyroid I’ve been scoping out ways to treat it with food. One of the biggest things for me has been eating less beans and legumes and upping my veg intake. I’ve also stopped buying products in tins and ditched plastic bottles (as much as poss), my addiction to crisps, cut back on coffee and take iodine drops and activated charcoal. It’s amazing the change and it’s all information that wasn’t privy to my doctor - it took my own research. The point of this being that it’s so important to hold your health in your own hands and really explore what diet can do for you .... on another note my granny rosemary after being diagnosed with the big C is off all her painkillers after quitting sugar and her tea time shortbread. Im proud! That’s real Friday feels ❤️ (more recipes and videos coming soon)
