Quick repaint job of a Doopydoo E-11 blaster for @ariefsundjaja . No mods and detailing as requested. Went for a crinkling paint effect and lightly weathered the main body. Trigger carriage and bolt were restored to their rightful gun metal and silver colors.
Dream about the dark. Dream about the light. But Dream nevertheless!
My niece Melody up close with this magnificent mammal.

Come give me a tummy rub, human.
This is a LPA NN-14 blaster I painted for @ariefsundjaja. It came to me already painted silver and I was requested to simply weather it. I saw an opportunity to challenge myself with this project so I decided on an overhaul. I completely stripped the paint, smoothed the surface with coats of primer, gloss black and a lot of wet sanding, and gave it an even, fresh coat of chrome. The grip and square indents were spray painted semi-gloss black and flat black respectively. For weathering, I went more heavy handed than how it looked on-screen in The Force Awakens. For the most part, I used thinned down black enamel washes and pastels. The front end of the barrel was painted clear blue and overlayed with smoke grey to simulate oxidization. Brown pastel was subtly dabbed into spots of recesses to simulate dirt. This was a fun and educating project that I am rather proud of. Enjoy trooping with it @jolynn_87 !
This is a Sonn-Blas F-11D standard blaster I built for @ariefsundjaja . The 3D kit was designed by Germain aka The5thHorseman and printed by @thisiskevin . I made modifications to include a working trigger, foldable forward grip, clear scope lenses, and working lights in the folding stock tip, Hengstler counter and magazine. Screen accurate torx screws were used in the construction. I hate see this baby go, but she is ready for deployment to hunt Rebel scums! #StarWars #starwarsblaster #F11D #FirstOrder #TheForceAwakens
