"Big personal accomplishment today! My entire life I have always wanted to put up 2 plates (100 kg) on the incline, not for a 1RM or even a set, but for full working sets (3x8). Today with @freezma on the spot I was able to crush it! I have always had somewhat weaker upper pectorals genetically due to where the muscle insets on my frame. To fix this, I simply needed to get stronger on upper chest exercises - namely the incline bench. I'd see guys with fantastic upper chests smashing this same weight on YouTube but I could maybe do 3-4 reps for one set. This told me that until I am at a comparable strength, I should not be comparing muscle mass as I haven't put in the same time/effort. I can safely say that now, easily working with what used to crush me, I have brought up my weak point significantly. Point is, this stuff takes TIME and PERSISTENCE but if you put in the work it's worth it. This may not be a crazy amount of weight compared to some of the beasts on fitness social media, but I'll take it any day and 2012 Igor who couldn't do this for 1 rep, he sure as hell will too ✌🏼

Too many times these 2 words are used interchangeably as if they mean the same thing. They simply do not.
It is quite often we come across people with fantastic flexibilty and rotten mobility and vice versa. Being able to distinguish the difference is not only important when in conversation or sounding smart to our friends but is extremely important when trying to optimise movement/ performance.
Flexibility is simply the word given to explain the length tension relationship in the muscles " you have flexible hamstrings" meaning your hanstrings are long and relaxed and therefore not restricting movement.
Mobility looks to explain how effective the body is at moving around a joint. "Good mobility in the hips allows the body to flex into a deep squat" ( not taking into account knee and ankle mobility). An imobile hip doesnt necessarily mean that you have tight hamsteings or muscles stopping the movement. It could be poor motor control or joint capsule tightness.
Take home message they are not the same and make sure your working on the right one.
