It’s #ThankYouThursday and we have lots of people to thank this week!
Thank you to all of the skydivers - including the team from John Lewis – for taking to the skies last Sunday in aid of Teens Unite.
Also, thank you to David, Hugh and Sophia who smashed the Hackney Half Marathon last Sunday, raising funds for Teens Unite. #fundraising #thankyou #charity #cancerawareness #cancersucks #skydive #johnlewis #marathon #hackney

We had an amazing time at our Cookery Day yesterday, where we enjoyed making (and eating!) delicious treats including burgers, wedges and pancakes. Many thanks go to our host Dawn, and to @candckitchens who are one of our corporate partners.

We’ve just arrived at @candckitchens for our Cookery Day! Our host Dawn greeted us on arrival with some delicious, freshly made treats - we can’t wait to make our own and share them together! #cooking #foodphotography #foodblogger #instafood #cancerawareness #cancercharity

We received a lovely surprise in the office this morning! Teen Mikhaila sent us a box of sweets to tuck into as a thank you for another memorable Reunion Stay and for the photo book we sent out, which captures some special moments from the stay. •

This week is #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and we want to spread the word that cancer doesn't stop when the treatment stops. Meet Harry - at 20 years old he was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. After a gruelling year of treatment he was given the all clear, but his journey with cancer didn't stop there. Swipe to read Harry's story and hear about how meeting Teens Unite helped him to start overcoming the social and emotional side effects of cancer, allowing him to take a hold of his life again.

In 8 days the law is changing. If you haven't given us your smile before 25th May, we will sadly no longer be able to keep you up to date on our latest news and events, and tell you about the amazing job you are doing as a supporter of Teens Unite. Our recent newsletter contains just some of the many reasons to smile, and tells you how to complete the speedy process to give us yours: https://mailchi.mp/05071ed7aca4/the-law-is-changing-891093 #smile #reasonstosmile #gdpr #data #cancerawareness #news #teenagecancer

It was an extra special team meeting today as we wished Teens Unite’s Administration and Events Assistant @felicitee_kew the very best of luck for her travels in Australia! We look forward to you rejoining the team in a year’s time. 🕶☀️✈️🇦🇺

We know that for many of the young people we support, it takes a lot to not only restore your physical health following a cancer diagnosis, but also overcome the long lasting social and emotional side effects. As it's Mental Health Awareness Week, we want to spread the word that cancer doesn't stop when the treatment stops. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek #breakthestigma #stopthestigma #mentalhealthawareness #letstalk #mentalhealth #mindfulness #mentalhealthmatters #headstogether

At Teens Unite, we provide support not only to young people who are overcoming a cancer diagnosis, but also to their families. It's #InternationalDayofFamilies and we've been thinking about the incredible memories we've built at our Family Days. Our events unite families in similar situations so they can enjoy a special occasion outside of what can be a gruelling routine of treatment and appointments.
We have a selection of upcoming Family Days including a Father's Day Golfing Event at Urban Golf (Soho), and a Family Fun Day at Paradise Wildlife Park. You can register your interest for these events by emailing teens@teensunite.org, or for a full list of upcoming family events, please visit our website! #cancerawareness #teenagecancer #familyfunday #family #teenstuesday #paradisewildlifepark #golfday

Meet Azreen, one of the inspirational young people we support. Swipe to read about her journey with cancer, and how Teens Unite has helped her to rebuild her life. It's National Share a Story month so if Azreen has inspired you to share your story, please tell us how Teens Unite has made a difference to your life by emailing info@teensunite.org.
