Change takes time and muscle gains takes food ๐Ÿž๐Ÿš๐Ÿฝ So if youโ€™re not seeing the progress you want, and youโ€™re not losing weight or gaining weight or whatever, then ask yourself:
1. Have you given it enough time? A few weeks isnโ€™t really long enough to know if something is working for your body. CONSISTENCY is key here.
2. Are you eating enough? To build up something that wasnโ€™t there, youโ€™re obviously going to have to ADD something. And for me, I added lots of eggs, wholemeal wraps, brown rice, vegetables, oats etc.
3. Do you LOVE your workouts? If youโ€™re demotivated and inconsistent itโ€™s probably because youโ€™re not enjoying what you do, or youโ€™re doing it for the wrong reasons!

I was happy with my body in the first picture and Iโ€™m happy with my body now! But my goals changed and along with that I changed my routine. You have to embrace new and difficult experiences if you want to see different results. If something isnโ€™t working, then fix it! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“

GLUTE PRESSDOWN
This has been my new fav glute exercise, so many people have asked WHAT IS THAT MACHINE???? Itโ€™s the assisted pull-up machine! Most gyms will have one of these tucked away somewhere, so itโ€™s perfect for when the gym is packed and you just want a booty burner.

This is not a hard exercise, I love putting it right at the end of my leg day workouts as a finisher exercise. Really try to aim for slow and controlled movements, keeping constant tension in your glute muscles, both on the way down and up.

I usually put 100kg on the machine then go for around 3 x 10 for each leg! Happy booty burns!

Heyyyyyy baby gals and guys, these are some FAQ:
1. How to gain weight??
You have to be in a calorie surplus and eat more than youโ€™re burning. The main foods that I eat a lot include eggs, oats, brown rice, chicken breast, wholemeal wraps, pasta, protein shakes. Gaining ONLY muscle and no fat is pretty unlikely, but if you stick to increasing healthy carbs and lean protein itโ€™ll be a lot more balanced.

2. How to build muscle, especially glutes??
Aside from being in a calorie surplus, to really grow your muscles you need to lift HEAVY. I love weightlifting because it gives me the muscle progress that I want, and also makes me feel strong. But if you want any sort of booty gains, youโ€™re going to have to lift weights. My favourite exercises for glutes are barbell hip thrusts, back squats, stiff leg deadlifts, Bulgarian split squats and cable kickbacks. But it takes consistent dedication to grow muscle - thereโ€™s nearly two years between these two photos!
