/// On a desolate path to White Sands, NM and the road seemed to literally be materializing in front of our eyes. As if I wasn’t already convinced we’re living in a simulation...

/// Sevilla, keepin’ the streets cool in more ways than one 😎

/// 🎶 Would you come here and spin with me?
I've been dying to get you dizzy,
Find a way up into your head,
so I can make you feel like new again 🎶

/// I was SUPER hungover when I took this, haha. ⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀ This photo is a representation of a real life reward for pushing myself past comfortability, a huge lesson that slapped me in the face when in Spain. I obviously didn’t feel like doing anything, and was in a bad mental place because of it....but it left two choices. 1) Feel shitty and continue to wallow in misery in a lumpy bed. Or 2) still feel shitty, but explore the city and enjoy my time alive. It’s a logical decision, but a tough one to enact. I’m so glad I did, because I wouldn’t have gotten this view, or the incredible undocumented experiences that day. Love you, Madrid. And all your cheap cervesas.

/// It was pouring the whole time I was in Barcelona. But that didn’t stop me. As soon as I came across this statue on my journey through the wet city, I instantly felt connected to her. It felt like she had always been holding up that ship to the falling rain, perpetually declaring her power. I had to try to photograph her, even though it was CLEARLY pouring at a dangerous rate. Here she is, and I love her.
I later found out that the statue, called Barcelona, by Frederic Marès, depicts the woman as an allegorical representation of the city of Barcelona, and the ship a symbol of exploration and trade. How fitting.

I never posted this because I thought my feed wasn’t good enough for it. How illogical is that!? Here’s to just *trying* for the hell of it, because the alternative is much worse...and I’ve already done that. Hope everyone had a not-terrible Monday!

I’ve officially made it yet another year’s rotation around the sun, and I’m so grateful to be alive. /// Thank you to all the people who wished me well through words, thoughts, and spirit, and to those who have supported and appreciated me. I feel the love, and I just want to return it tenfold.
