Since it's now 2018, I think I should start the new year with some brutal honesty.
Over the course of the nearly three decades that I've spent on Earth, I have become very familiar with who I am as a person: confident, friendly, ambitious, romantic, caring...the list goes on.
But truthfully, WHERE you are in life sometimes makes you lose sight of WHO you are. It is easy to let unfavorable circumstances dictate how you feel about yourself and your goals.
Recently, I have allowed 1) my current situation and 2) the fear of moving on into the unknown to prevent me from living the life I always imagined for myself. The good news is that I plan to leave this habit in 2017 in exchange for more positive ones.
I am dedicating this year to regaining my focus on being the best version of myself for myself.
