I wasn't always as big and strong as I am now.

I used to be a lot smaller. I wasn't to sure how to work out or diet. I'd walk in the gym and feel insecure and think everyone was looking at me, and maybe they were. BUT I've found the people who laugh at others just beginning or trying to better themselves, are just unhappy with their own miserable lives.

That's why once I figured out how to train and diet properly, it's been my mission to help as many people as I can who are just as lost and confused as I used to be.

You're not alone, I want to help. I want to help people find a sustainable diet and workout plan. I want people to gain confidence and feel good when they look in the mirror.

Nobody should have to feel bad for trying to improve themselves or feel lost as to what they should do. I will never judge anyone. As long as you're trying to improve you will earn my respect and I will try to help in anyway possible.

Anyone who ever does something well over the LONG term, and not just for a little while. Has to build up some kind of consistent patterns.

Which of these habits are you not doing on a daily basis? 🧐🧐🧐

I used to think having a six pack meant i had to eat chicken 🐔 and broccoli 🥦 or else!!! 😩😩😩

Then i wised up and realized not enjoying life in exchange for 6 pack abs, wasn’t what i wanted to do. Not only was it not what i wanted to do but i was doing it needlessly 🙅🏻‍♀️

I then spent the next couple years of my life figuring out how i could look good without missing out on life 🤔🤔
-
It turns out it wasn’t as complicated as i thought. The fitness industry just complicates it typically to turn more of a profit 🏆 (go figure)

It’s a mindset, an attitude. There’s that moment where it just all can come together for you.

For me it happened when i was just 12 years old. For you it may happen when you’re 40. But the sooner you accept the fact that you’re in control of your destiny the better 👌🏻

In theory it’s great to say

✅I’m going to eat chicken 🐔 and broccoli 🥦 ✅I’m going to drink 10 gallons of water 💧 a day
✅I’m never eating sugar 🍭 again
✅I’m exercising 2 hours a day
✅I’m never staying up late
✅I’m never eating pizza 🍕

And thennnnnnn....life happens

You realize all that sounds good on paper. But then realize it’s seriously the most unrealistic list you can follow on a day in and day out basis

🔥If you plan on never eating bad food again then good luck 👍🏻

🔥If you plan on never staying up late again then good luck 👍🏻

🔥If you plan on being PERFECT then good luck 👍🏻 I don’t preach perfection i preach BALANCE!

Do I workout and eat healthily things? Sure do. But i also find time to live life and enjoy it.

How many times have we envy someone's else body ?
I honestly cannot count.

From wishing to have a leaner tummy, tighter waist, someone's else hair or nose, it is SO easy to fall in the trap of self-deprecating.

And so, we start obsessing about others. We start staring at them, talking about them, judging them.

Honestly, I am not proud, but I have been that person. 
Did it make me feel better about myself?

No.

It is not by judging others that you'll feel better. 
What helped me, though, is starting by not judging myself.

Most people seem to think that dealing with cravings REVOLVES around restriction. But does restriction ever really work?

When you base an action off of restriction, you’re setting yourself up for failure. Just like when we were little kids. We ALWAYS did the OPPOSITE of what our parents told us we were supposed to do.

❌Don’t drink alcohol 🍺 ❌Don’t party 🎉 ❌Don’t stay out late ❌Do your homework 📚

How many of you can relate to doing the OPPOSITE of what your parents said 😂😂

The second you restrict something, it’s human nature to automatically want to do that thing that just got taken away from you.

So INSTEAD of taking foods you love ❤️ away permanently (which is unsustainable/impossible anyways). Why don’t you just incorporate them into your nutrition?
-
People believe it’s “have a good body” or “eat what you want.” The truth is you can have both if you just know what you’re doing.
-
Have a STRICT diet but not a RESTRICTED ONE ☝️

Hey guys! Here’s a how to look good checklist, @tannerchidesterfitness approved! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1️⃣ Lift things, heavy things - 3-5 reps per set
2️⃣ Lift more things, lighter things - 6-15 reps per set
3️⃣ Eat MORE - you need to be in a calorie surplus
4️⃣ Get a good amount of sleep - 6-8 hours each night
5️⃣ Follow a real plan (contact an expert, and don’t make it up as you go)
6️⃣ Get comfortable being UNCOMFORTABLE. Success is achieved outside your comfort zone, so learn how to stretch yourself now, and you’ll discover more things about yourself.

It’s almost 2 weeks in to 2018 and you’re either on track with your goals or you’re not ✅❌

Every year we all make New Years resolutions 🙌🏻🏋️‍♀️👌🏻 but only a small percentage of the population can stick with it.

Why is that? 🤔
-
🔥Is the whole world 🌎 just lazy?
🔥Are we all just to busy?
🔥Do we all just have good excuses?
🔥Are we just lost?

I think this question is actually open to debate. It could be a numerous amount of things. BUT i will say the only thing that keeps me on track is CLARITY 🌟 of what i want.

I have days where I’d rather have surgery then workout. Or days I’d rather Netflix all day and not talk to a single client (I still ❤️ you guys if you’re reading this).
-
We all have bad days, excuses, hurdles, struggles etc. but there comes a point in life you either decide to become the person you need to be to get to where you want...OR you talk about it while continuing the same routine.
-
I don’t care if it’s fitness or anything else. Success takes hard work and the successful people just decide to what what’s necessary even when they don’t want to.
