I always loved when my mom made corned beef and cabbage when I was a kid. If the slow cooker was out I knew what we were having for dinner that night.
Yesterday I decided to cook a traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner with a twist. I prepared a #SousVide Corned Beef served on a bed of green and purple Guiness braised cabbage and oven roasted carrots. Not pictured are duck fat fried potatoes. I wanted to avoid the all one texture Irish dinner and add different layers of flavor into the dish.
