Coffee gelato puff - Chouxtopia (Jan18)
I have so many comments on this, where do I begin? 😶😶😶
The gelato puff in itself is a great idea - like a colder, crunchier version of Beard Papa. However, the puffs are not close to fresh and having been refrigerated for a while, they're rather brittle and dry. Due to the shape and how it's served in this paper sleeve, it's nigh impossible to eat neatly. Likewise, the popcorn was also chewy (even by honey-glazed popcorn standards). Only the icecream and the cornflakes actually kept to their usual consistencies.
All in all, I love the idea of gelato puffs, but they need to be produced fresh or else it's not really an experience I would shill out $8.90 for 😶
