MAN OF STEEL movie review:
As the time of AQUAMAN'S release is coming close slowly and slowly, for dumb fun I might as well just review all of the movies in the DCEU.
Zac Snyder's second superhero comic book movie MAN OF STEEL kicked of DC'S own universe, and while it didn't completely fall flat on its face, it was, however, a massive disappointment. Everytime Zac Snyder chooses to focus just on Clark Kent and his journey, the movie really shines, as we follow our hero who we sympathy for, and is some ways connect to him, but then Everytime the film switches to focus in Superman, it goes from an average movie to a massive mess of a film, as it simply decides to just to focus on action, and it goes on for too long and you wonder where the story is. What makes a superhero movie frest isn't just our main protagonist kicking ass and looking cool as he does it, but instead it's the Character himself or herself, and how we, as the audience follow their journey through obstacles and payoffs, and MAN OF STEEL simply doesn't have that quality like BATMAN BEGINS did, which this movie is so obviously ripping off.
Zac Synder's vision of a Superman movie simply isn't stable, as he himself at times seems like he has no idea what he is doing. At the film's climax, when Superman has a hard time lifting that big-ass Krypton machine, but that couple seconds later he lifts and destroys it with ease. Isn't he the fucking Superman? Can't he easily do it? Why did he have a struggle at first? It feels as if Snyder has the mindset of a little child while making the movie, where he thinks hmmm... The machine's heavey, Superman nust struggle, but then it hits him that Superman is invincible and can lift the Krypton machine with ease. It's things like those that make MAN OF STEEL a mess in storytelling and direction, all because of an incomepetent person like Zac Snyder.
