Be your own superhero in life!
If you have mental illness, no one will truly understand what YOU are going through except YOU. Doctors will give you a diagnosis based on textbooks and research based within the academia but mental illness is far from being a black and white topic.
Some people have mental health illness growing up and others get it later on in life. When you have been diagnosed with a type of mental illness, you need to understand 4 things: that being in control of your words, your actions, your thinking, and your overall health will no longer be completely in your hands anymore. That ship may have sailed but the sooner you befriend your unique situation, the sooner you will have a better chance at surviving the 'new you'. You do this right and not only will you lead a much better life than you thought you had before but you may also see yourself become close to the person you've aways dreamt to become. There will come a time where you will say mental illness changed my life and pushed me to become stronger, wiser, and better.
Follow this new page I recently created to help empower you or anyone you know who may have mental illness: @teamalleviate. I will be giving out FREE guides and designing a program that will hopefully help you appreciate how beautiful you are inside even if you are no longer the same "you" that you were before. ☺️✌🏻
