I just wanted to share a little prep update and it's been a while since the lions mane cooperated this much out of bed so 💁🏼 Look: I tried on my posing suit today for the first time in a few weeks and it was honestly a huge confidence booster. I can't believe how much my overall shape has changed from last year. My shoulders and taper are so much broader making my waist seem smaller and my dominant glutes/legs more proportionate to my body. Very happy with how my off season's work is shaping out, just have to drop the softness.
Food: I'm still eating a lot, actually. This time last year I was dropped a lot lower. My cravings are the WORST at night, no other time, but I want to win more than I want sweets so🤷🏼♀️Simplifying things and going 80% bro diet/high volume this week because I know my body responds well to that.
Workouts: Cardio daily-- fasted and HIIT are in my programming. I just binge watch Gilmore Girls, so it goes by fast. My lifts are pretty great tbh in the most non conceited way, I'm obsessed with being lean enough to really see the pumps I get and the veins/striations that come out to play lol #bro 😅 The human body truly is fascinating.
Weight: I'm sitting in the mid 117s so far, the goal for the end of the week is to hit the low 117s/high 116s. This time last week I was 1.5lbs heavier aka perfect progress for my time frame-- I will achieve that again this week. I competed last year at ~113 AFTER pulling water, so ~115 BW... I could've been MUCH leaner, especially on my lower body, but for a regional show it was enough. I've projected to step on stage this year at 108-109 even with my added muscle. So 8lbs in 8.5 weeks... 🍰 Watch me.😈 Mood: Cranky/want complete silence for no reason 1% of the time... but otherwise with my support system and attitude I'm on top of the freaking world🌎🙌🏼🙏🏼 SIXTY DAYS YALL. #nationals2017
