20 years ago I heard about deforestation of the rainforest. It made me angry and I felt as if something was taken from me. As if I would loose something personal. It became my topic, my passion to care about the environment. So I started to do whatever was in my power: Whenever I saw someone throwing rubish at the side of the road or similar things I protested... when dad didn't turn off the car when we were waiting for someone I protested... 20 years later I have seen the rainforest, I spoke at the UN, I studied environmental issues and I lead a social initiative with more than 50 volunteers. I understand that I have not the power to change these problems... But I just do what I did back in the days: I see problems, they make me angry, I make them my personal issues and I do whatever I can and influence and maybe inspire my friends and surrounding.
I just pray that God will never sent people that convince me to be realistic. I hope he will keep on blessing me with friends that go with me: step by step. And than who knows what will happen in the next 20 years?
