You’re my sunshine. My only sunshine. You make me happy when I workout. .

Make a list of all the amazing things that you have accomplished and are proud of. Don't say, "oh, it's nothing, everyone does that" or "I've got nothing". Of course you do, we ALL do. Many of them.

I did a mini workout yesterday and that's exactly how I felt. Full of energy and excited. But it wasn't always like that.

Couple of years ago, feeling low energy and exhausted had became my new normal. I got through my workouts but I was far from thriving... more like just surviving.

I was always able to get myself to do what I planned anyway, because I was super disciplined. But about 1.5 years ago, I just couldn't anymore. I signed up for a group fitness class because I couldn't get my butt to the gym without this extra push. I felt guilty for feeling unmotivated.

It worked for a while, but 2 months in, I crashed. I was exhausted. I decided to take a break.
##

This break became really long for various reasons, but my body and mind are finally starting to wake up again. I'm excited as hell to work out, and I re-learn how it feels to actually have energy for working out. My workouts feel 10x more awesome than 2 years ago. All I needed was rest. Maybe you need it too?

✅Realize that working out is a privilege, not everyone gets to do it. ✅Working our should never be a tool for punishment. ✅Respect your body and stop when it says “no”.
✅Eat. ✅Rest. ✅SLEEP.
