I decided that today was going to be a rest day...so, no workout. I had a hair appointment, having internet WAS an issue for most of the day and I was tired...sleeping has been a challenge lately. .
I had my shake this morning (with just water...not a fave), knowing that eating well was going to be another challenge. AT LEAST I had that...it's like a vitamin pill on steroids (ok, not really steroids...but a really, really good vitamin pill). I had a teen burger (A&W) and savignon blanc for dinner. I'm pretty sure there is chocolate around here too. 😀😜
I am laughing now at this post. Am I freaked out cuz this day broke all of my "healthy fitness journey" rules? NOPE! I am confident on what I've accomplished over the last 18 months. I know how to eat well, choose an appropriate workout, and where to get support. I know what it feels like to accomplish a goal and maintain it! It's kind of empowering actually. I know some of you will TOTALLY get that!
I am not going to say to hell with all of my accomplishments...I have no doubt I'll be back at my workout tomorrow. I'm not gonna lie, eating clean is going to be harder tho...whatever. I am on vacation. I'll do the best I can. Life is about balance AND enjoying it. I enjoy feeling good and looking good, so I'll be back following MY rules soon enough. I'm feeling good with that too!
