Pull ups- Bodyweight pull ups midway through the work out! Going back-and-forth from front to behind the neck. Controlled negatives, explosive positives!
I've been doing this for so long and I have never had issues tweaking ANYTHING! but I do understand how if somebody has poor mobility in the shoulders or conduct these with too abrupt uncontrolled motions, that they could tweak something from behind the neck exercises. So judge everything based off of your own mobility and work with proper form.
I structure a majority of my training around the old-school bodybuilders! This was a regular move for them, and it's worked well for me. Don't knock anything until you try it 🤙
