For as long as I can remember I have been trying to lose weight. I've always had low self esteem & a very negative body image. On top of that I have suffered from depression & anxiety all of my life. I have started over every week for years, "I'm going to be a better mom, I'm going to workout, I'm going to eat better, be a better wife, clean the house better". Still not much has changed.
I have decided to let all that go. Starting tomorrow 9.19.17 I'm going to task myself with 365 days of Yoga & Pilates. These are the 2 forms of exercise I have always enjoyed. I have found a studio that offers both. I have found YouTube channels for yoga for when I cannot make it to a class.
Thought the next year I hope to find joy within myself. I hope to improve my self image & I hope to set a good example for my family. And losing some weight wouldn't hurt either.
