1) What does "yoga" mean to you?
For me, yoga is more than just a physical workout. It's a way for me to unite my body, mind and soul. The word comes from a Sanskrit word "yuj", which is why I have that as part of my Instagram name!
2) Is there one thing you hope your students take away from your classes?
Self-awareness, especially of their breath and how their bodies feel. It's the most important thing for me in yoga (aside from the asanas) because the connection between mind and body reflects our emotional & mental well being. When the breath is calm, the body & mind is equally calm.

3) Name another dream job, apart from teaching yoga obviously 😉
I've always wanted to be a PE teacher! But that didn't happen for some reason (you can ask me why when you come to my classes!) so teaching yoga turned out to be the next best thing!
