Day 28 of the @yoga_girl #yogagirlchallenge to #yogaeverydamnday started with me setting an intention: to be with my daughter, play with her, get down onto the floor and enjoy what she was having fun with, give her my attention, and go with the flow. This intention carries me through the day, and we have had a wonderful day - including sharing a 2 hour nap cuddled up together in bed.
Often a yoga class will start by inviting an intention for the practice, sankalpa. This can help guide us through the more challenging parts of the practice, acting as a reminder that there is a reason for being there, for being on the mat, a reason for doing what we're doing. •
I'm a big fan of essential oil blends, because they too come with an intention, stated loud and clear on the label. Not only does it make it easier for indecisive me to choose one. But there is an energy about them that i feel supports the same need I may have. •
Whether it is to let go of something that no longer serves me, finding balance and harmonizing chakras, grounding and anchoring, connecting with intuition, becoming present, inviting more gratitude, joy and acceptance into my life. These essential oils have got my back. Truly, #yogainabottle. •
Like the human body, essential oils have a #vibrationalfrequency. Part of the power of essential oils is they have quite high frequencies and when we come into contact with higher frequencies it can help to raise our own. • The lower our frequency is, the more dense our energy, and often our problems will seem heavier and more intense. •
The higher our frequency the lighter we will feel in body, mind, and spirit. And life will take on a more positive quality. •
When we meditate we also have an opportunity to raise our frequency. A physical yoga practice is a moving meditation. Add on a drop of pure #younglivingessentialoils and you will feel millimeters from levitating into enlightenment. •
