Teags will be my child that takes care of me when I'm older and here's why ☺️ She gets herself dressed for school everyday and today she put on her yellow school shirt. I was like Teags you should wear a different shirt (bad mom moment 🙈 I just don't think it's that cute) but she insisted on it so I was like "ok, whatever" (in my head), out loud "you look super cute." Anyways we get to preschool and all the other kids have on their yellow school shirts because today is picture day 😭 I felt so bad because I had no clue and Teags of course was so on it. I always say she is a 'little mom' because she is always on top of everything. Like I don't even have to tell her to clean up her toys because she likes things organized or I tell her my target list because she will memorize it exactly. Kind of long, but she amazes me all the time 💞

Hello yogis of #PowerAsanas todays pose is a warrior 2 pose and I did a small drill for you. .
Before I get into details I wanted to complain to you about my bloated belly 😁😁😁 but I decided I am not my body and I do not care if my belly is bloated or not! Period!

Some tips to follow:
- Warrior 2 is a base for many other poses so the more stable and grounded you feel in it the better.
- Try to focus on your hands and torso and keep your legs firm and grounded.
- At any point of any movement you want to feel that your weight is equally decided between your both legs and not just transferred on one.
- Try to plant your both feet down, from heels to toes and this will help you to feel more stable.
- Do any kind of movements, you can be creative here.
- Knee stays in line with ankle at all times.

Day 4 #RescuedByYoga
For day 4 We want to know how meditation changed and/or improved your practice.

Personally as of late my mediation has become more about moments. I have had times in my practice where I could sit for 30 minutes and listen to my mind battle out everything I had going on in my life. I've had times that I could sit and my mind was null and void of all thought. I've had periods of meditation being unsettling for me, nerve racking and anxiety inducing. So, I started looking for moments. Moments when I could find my breath and just breathe. Moments of stillness and clarity. Moments that replenished my mind and rejuvenated my spirit. I stopped searching for the perfect meditation practice and realized that just like my yoga practice, my mediation practice is personal and my own. There are no right or wrong. There is no perfect way to be a yogi. We aren't the stereotypes, we aren't the trend. We are humans that found a way to marry our minds and bodies. We are harmony seekers and there is no rules in being at peace with yourself, even if it's one moment at a time.

My left hamstring/it band/hip all need a massage and bath now, thank you. This doesn't look like much, but is a lot of progress for me! Day 2 of #BendsAndFolds and for second day it was #Anuvittasana or #standingbackbend ...hmm bend your back but don't break it.
Well not at all a good mobile or maybe not at all a good photographer I am so I don't post videos but breaking shackles gives me more confidence always and for first time trying to bend my back and that too without any support gave me so much more confidence. Connecting with breath The journey as far as I could go was a beautiful experience. .
