Start the new year strong! Here’s a strong hip-focused sequence to make you feel like the warrior goddess you are! . We often think of hip in terms of flexibility as oppose to strength, and so we tend to associate hip openers with passive stretches. Those are good, but it’s also important to balance it out by building strength in the muscles around the hips for more stability. . Incorporate these poses in your existing daily flow, or follow the sequence for a strong hip flow. Make sure to work both sides equally. I don't know if either of us would choose each other if we were to begin today. However, the "IF" is irrelevant because today is NOT day one. Even though we've changed enough to have learned to re-like each other again and again, I count myself pretty lucky to have a kickass someone to do that with me. Plus, I think it's pretty cool that even now we can stand across the counter after the kids are in bed and reveal the layers of discovery we are having about ourselves and each other. Sometimes there's less talking and more kissing. Although it's definitely a thing to continually work sexuality in during this stage of life. Right?! It's an adventure and I'm obsessively grateful to be in it. _
The first I ever attempted!!!! 🙈 and today. I’ve come a long way considering I had ZERO athletic abilities, scant muscle tone, and questionable home decorating skills. Actually my home decorating skills are still shit so. 🤷🏻♀️ But anyway, how I got here: • • 🌐 practiced for 10 minutes after every workout. Eventually moved to bound. 🌐 studied yogis on Instagram and researched best practices. 🌐 kept up a daily yoga practice and lifted weights. 🌐 took a million videos. I literally didn’t headstand without a camera up my ass. 🌐 began posting my videos to Instagram and joined yoga challenges. See @igyogachallenges for flyers.
