Liverpool's hopes of completing a shock move for Kylian Mbappe have been hit after their £89m opening offer was rejected outright by Monaco. After the relief of seeing their club finally get the £34.3m signing of Mohamed Salah over the line, Liverpudlian smiles have dissipated from their faces after Marca claimed that the Reds had been rebuffed in their advances for the Ligue 1 champions' wonderkid.
The monumental bid was immediately shoed away by the club's owner, Dmitri Rybolovlev, and if Jurgen Klopp truly has ambitions of luring Mbappe to Anfield then an astronomical offer in excess of £100m will be needed to even tempt Monaco to enter talks with them.
Should Liverpool go all out for Mbappe?
#YES? or #NO?
