E X T R E M E 🚴🏽♀️ 🏔 🤼♀️ .
La Paz, the highest city in South America and Bolivia’s adventure capital. .
Our fun fuelled weekend was kicked off with Death Road. This road has been named accurately after claiming many lives. It is hard to believe that this road was once a functional two way highway from La Paz to the Amazon. Today vehicles take a new and safer route whilst adrenaline seekers cycle the old. However, cycling does not necessarily mean your not exempt from the dangers of the road, as we heard first hand from members in our hostel. Staring fear in the face, we still had an awesome day, an awesome group and a great tour company #barracudabikingbolivia . .
The rest of the weekend has been spent roaming the streets and length of La Paz. We’ve visited flea markets, witches markets (Bolivian superstitions), fruit markets, cosmetic markets and electronic markets. Whatever you need it’s here in La Paz and it’s markets. .
The night life matches the cities buzz. We found ourselves in some quirky and cramped bars and clubs. Fuelling our party appetite. We have also been treated to some Cholita Wrestling, a very entertaining evening.
We ❤️ La Paz! .
