Mojo worldwide part 3:
My main worries I had about how this arch was gonna progress were confirmed by this issue. The story doesn't take any real steps forward and once again we see the X-Men fighting in the mojo simulation for the whole issue. The nostalgic elements of this storyline are really wearing thin by this point too at first it was pretty novel but now it's just them being in familiar locals doing the same thing they did last issue. Although mojo still has some funny stuff to say even he's starting to get a little stale. And wtf is the point of bringing Longshot back if he's not gonna do anything, in almost all of the panels he's just standing around. I want to see the stakes raised and something to happen that isn't just "hey remember this storyline and how cool the X-Mens uniforms were" yes I love classic X-Men stories but not for the surface level stuff I loved them because they were great stories. Lamings art is perfectly fine, perhaps not as good as some of the other artists on these last couple of issues but serviceable. My one highlight was the gold team finding out that the blue team is working with magneto that could definitely become interesting. Aside from that I really want to see more than just nostalgia from the next issue cause this arch can still be saved.
