Focusing on proper pacing and movement efficiency this off-season. Event 1 from @thewodapalooza provided a great test for it.
Came out too hot in minute 1 of a 7 minute amrap of squat clean and jerks at 225 and dropped off quickly and grinded the rest of the way during last week's attempt. Redid the workout yesterday, slowed things down and less reps early resulted in more reps at the end.
Doing a run thru of @thewodapalooza event 2 to get a feel for it. The feeling is 🤢💀 and I only tried 2 Rds. Saving this one for tomorrow. 2 minutes to perform 8 burpee box jump overs, 8 hang power snatches, 8 thrusters. If successful, keep repeating every 2 minutes.
