My wet weather incidental exercise weapon. I've mentioned my house is long and narrow so I can get my 'steps' up by doing a few laps of my corridor but I've also pulled this out. When I'm home and my Fitbit buzzes to remind me I've not done my 250 steps that hour I can 'bounce' / trot / walk on here for a couple of minutes. #fitbitweek2 #wetweather #wycwyc

Chained to your phone...that was me...chained to my phone app entering every morsel of food that entered my mouth, every step I took, every macro counted...every adjustment made to make sure I was 'perfect' every day. I did that for years on end...and now I'm free of that burden...oh I'm so free. I focus on real, whole foods most of the time. I exceeded my step goal 5 days last week (the 6th is an honorable mention because it was a Sunday)! Next week I'm increasing the goal - this week is going to be pretty wet outside. My two best days were thanks to #physicaltherapy ๐Ÿค•

After two days off workouts because of some pain, I decided to take it a bit easier today. Lifting would have potentially made my situation worse, so I decided to have some fun and try out one of the routines in the Zumba-ish program that launched this week.
It's designed for people just starting out or just getting back to fitness, but I still worked up a sweat and worked to keep up on some of the moves!
I don't love missing workouts on my schedule but sometimes life changes the plan. Today was fun and just what I needed. โค๏ธ

Finally got back to working out 8 weeks after havingy baby and it feels great. I decided to go straight back to my tried and true Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. She starts you of somewhat slow and increases intensity as you go thru 12 weeks. It's only 30 minutes which is good because it's all I have these days. I struggled but I was able to everything except plank (of course). That's going to take a while.
